AWS SRE

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee and sustain AWS cloud infrastructure components including EC2, VPC, EKS, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, Route53, and CloudWatch
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform to streamline infrastructure management
• Automate the provisioning of infrastructure and manage configuration processes efficiently
• Monitor the performance, availability, and reliability of applications and infrastructure to ensure optimal operation
• Manage incident response, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Design and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Ensure system high availability, scalability, and preparedness for disaster recovery scenarios
• Apply security best practices including IAM policies, secrets management, and compliance controls to safeguard infrastructure
• Optimize AWS resource deployment to enhance efficiency and reduce cloud expenditure
• Coordinate with development and platform engineering teams to facilitate smooth production deployments

Technical Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Cloud Platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform
• Strong background in DevOps practices and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in DevOps methodologies within the AWS environment
• Deep understanding of Cloud Platform management and automation using Terraform
• Experience in implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to enhance system stability and performance
