AWS Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, deploy, and oversee a scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure
• Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions utilizing Terraform for the automated provisioning and management of AWS resources
• Develop and sustain Python-based automation scripts for monitoring, remediation, and reporting of cloud operations
• Oversee essential AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, and Route 53
• Implement and troubleshoot AWS networking components, including VPCs, VPNs, Security Groups, NACLs, and Load Balancers
• Design serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Python
• Automate deployment processes and infrastructure modifications via CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline
• Monitor the performance, availability, and security of cloud infrastructure through CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config
• Establish cloud security controls, IAM policies, encryption methods, and compliance standards
• Assist with cloud migrations, application modernization, and infrastructure optimization projects
• Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive strategies
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver cloud-native solutions
• Create and sustain operational documentation, Terraform modules, and deployment standards
• Enhance AWS resource utilization and manage cloud costs through governance and automation
