AWS engineer

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines utilizing various hyperscalers such as AWS and Azure.

Proficiency in developing CI/CD pipelines is essential.

Engage in the onboarding process for AWS accounts and set up IAM controls.

Establish standards, processes, and controls for release and deployment operations.

Familiarity with writing Docker files and creating images is required.

Hands-on experience with Terraform and CloudFormation (3 or more years) is necessary, along with skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Python development, and a strong command of AWS cloud services including EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, Quicksight, RDS, and AWS Operations.

A minimum of 2 years of experience with cloud-based DevOps practices, particularly extensive hands-on experience with Terraform and CloudFormation, is required.

At least 5 years of practical experience in AWS and familiarity with DevOps methodologies are essential.

Demonstrated experience in automation utilizing DevOps pipeline tools is expected.

Experience with developer tools such as Git, SVN, and Maven is a must.

Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments is required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Experience in managing a multi-account AWS deployment is necessary.

A strong understanding of FinOps and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities within AWS workloads is important.

Support quality development practices while exploring innovative methods for building and deploying services/accounts.

Ability to plan and collaborate with application teams adopting DevSecOps, cloud solutions, and automation transformation to enhance continuous deployment and delivery practices.

Develop advanced solutions to address challenges using the appropriate technologies.

Create and implement automation for diverse types of testing, CI/CD pipelines, and software deployments.

Experience with scripting languages, configuration management, pipeline code, pipeline patterns, and CI tools is needed.

Design and construct solutions to technical challenges, ensuring craftsmanship, resilience, and scalability while continually enhancing DevOps engineering practices.

Strong analytical, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with customers and internal teams in resolving complex system issues.
