Auditing and Assurance

This course will provide students with a foundational understanding of auditing and assurance, emphasizing their role within Singapore's financial reporting framework. Topics covered include the auditor’s responsibilities, audit objectives, potential risks, materiality considerations, evidence collection and documentation, as well as the audit process across various functional areas. The curriculum will also delve into audit sampling techniques, the examination of specific items, the formulation of audit procedures for detailed balance tests and alternative testing methods, the development of audit opinions, and final audit procedures and reporting.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university; a Master's degree is preferred.  

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level.  

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience is a plus.  

• Availability to teach during daytime hours is essential.
