Our client is an established main contractor in Singapore with proven experience delivering large-scale building and development projects.

They are seeking an experienced M&E professional to lead site coordination and manage M&E works. You will collaborate closely with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to support quality, safety and timely delivery of the project.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of and coordinate M&E site activities, including engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors on drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, materials and method statements.
• Track site progress, installation workmanship and compliance with approved drawings and authority requirements.
• Plan and manage work schedules, manpower deployment, on-site coordination and subcontractor performance.
• Assess subcontractor claims, variation orders, material submissions and technical documentation.
• Coordinate equipment installation, testing and commissioning (T&C), including authority inspections.
• Update and maintain project records, QA/QC documentation, as-built drawings and completion documents.
• Spot opportunities to support value engineering and cost optimisation.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 7-8 years of relevant M&E construction experience with a main contractor or M&E contractor.
• Experience in building projects including commercial, industrial, mixed-development or institutional developments.
• Strong M&E site coordination and installation experience, with exposure to testing and commissioning.
• Knowledge of relevant building services, including ACMV, electrical, fire protection, sanitary and plumbing systems. Experience with other systems such as lifts, escalators and swimming pool systems will be advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and drive site progress as well as project deliverables.

• Location: Depending on project
• Working hours: 5 Days and OT
• Salary: up to S$7,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
