Assistant Manager, Data Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Chief Data Officer (CDO) to formulate and execute the company's Data Strategy aimed at enhancing decision-making processes.
• Craft, assess, and refine policies related to data to ensure compliance with national standards.
• Manage and maintain the company’s platform for data requests, ensuring streamlined access for staff members.
• Establish protocols that adhere to applicable data access, sharing, and security regulations.
• Act as a liaison for other institutions and external entities regarding data requests, while contributing to group analytics and digitalization initiatives.
• Create and implement comprehensive standard operating procedures and workflows for data asset management throughout the Data Life Cycle, from acquisition and fusion to access, distribution, and disposal.
• Work collaboratively with various departments to enhance staff literacy, skills, and knowledge in the safe and effective exploitation and management of data across multiple platforms.
• Provide secretariat support for departmental and hospital committees to further the digital transformation agenda and foster communities of practice for sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Lead change management efforts, engage with stakeholders at all levels, and communicate effectively on issues related to data management, sharing, and utilization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business data management and governance, with a proven track record in developing data strategies.
• Preferred experience in conducting compliance reviews or overseeing data management/IT systems.
• Familiarity with data analytics is a valuable asset.
• Strong understanding of data and technology, including contemporary topics such as data governance, data policies, and data domains.
