Senior Staff Nurse (O&G)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, which involve monitoring vital signs and gathering nursing history. Assist during consultations, examinations, and minor surgical procedures. Provide nursing care before and after procedures, ensuring patient safety and vigilance for any adverse reactions. Educate patients on various health topics, including treatment plans, medications, and recovery processes. Offer guidance on financial matters related to treatment options, fees, and insurance claims. Manage patient appointments, diagnostic tests, and specialist referrals while ensuring prompt follow-up. Assist in the daily operations of the clinic, including patient scheduling and inventory oversight. Mentor and support junior nursing personnel and clinic assistants, aiding in their professional development.

Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Nursing. Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid practising licence from the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). Certification in phlebotomy and specimen collection is required. Relevant prior experience is preferred.
