Assistant Contracts Manager Civil / Infrastructure

Our client is an established A1 main contractor in Singapore with a proven track record in delivering major building and infrastructure projects. With continued expansion of their projects, they are inviting applications for an Assistant Contracts Manager to strengthen their commercial team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Contracts Manager in overseeing tender and post-contract activities.
• Review tender documents; prepare commercial submissions, cost analyses, and tender evaluations.
• Coordinate subcontractor procurement, contract administration, claims, and final accounts.
• Handle contractual matters including variations, EOT submissions, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Track and manage project costs, budgets, cash flow, and commercial performance.
• Assess contractual risks and support the resolution of commercial issues and disputes.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Ensure accurate contract documentation, commercial reports, and records are maintained.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5-8 years of relevant contracts or commercial experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in tendering, subcontract administration, cost control and post-contract management.
• Familiarity with variations, claims, EOT submissions and final accounts.
• Experience with a main contractor on civil, infrastructure or building projects.
• MRT/LTA project experience will be an advantage.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Working hours: 5 Days
• Salary: up to S$9,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
