Arrangement & Piping Engineer

Job Overview:

• This position involves supporting projects in Plant Engineering, with a primary emphasis on 3D
• mechanical design and piping layout for power plants in both 3D and 2D formats
• Development of arrangement and piping engineering from initial concepts to detailed engineering and
• onsite assistance
• Overseeing arrangement deliverables in collaboration with clients
• internal teams, and/or partners
• Production of 3D models, 2D drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and
• other related documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive site layout design, including underground and mechanical
• network organization
• 3D design for power plant and arrangement of all associated equipment
• 3D modeling utilizing AVEVA E3D and PDMS
• Conducting clash detection and coordination with civil engineers and structural
• steel designers
• Defining various arrangement concepts, managing lifting and access
• Creating walkway and laydown plans
• Designing large prefabricated and transportable plant modules, which includes
• basic steel design, piping and equipment placement, material take-off,
• and comprehensive manufacturing instructions for mock-up assembly, transport, and
• onsite installation
• Producing arrangement drawings incorporating civil inputs derived from 3D
• models using AVEVA DRAW and AutoCAD
• Routing designs for water, air, gas, and steam piping from conceptual to basic and
• detailed engineering stages
• Detailing designs for pipes, valves, and pipe supports
• Defining piping welds and spooling strategies
• Generating isometric and support drawings along with other project deliverables
• Markup for hydrotests and pressure tests
• Providing technical clarifications on isometric drawings
• Conducting pipe stress calculations and generating reports (preferred but not mandatory)
• Possessing strong knowledge of
• specifications related to piping, valves, fittings, supports, hangers, insulation,
• hydrotest procedures, markup P&IDs for pressure testing,
• heat tracing, gaskets, and various inline components
• Itemized piping for concrete or rubber-lined systems for circulating cooling water
• Piping prefabrication activities

Technical Qualifications:

• Education
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Experience
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years in the Power and Energy sector
• Familiarity with customer specifications and international standards
• Experience in site and customer support is preferred
