Applications Development Manager (Payment Technology) - Senior Vice President

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and enhance the strategic Payments Product Processor Platform to accommodate a variety of Payments use cases within Markets.
• Leverage contemporary AI methodologies and tools, including agentic workflows, to accelerate development processes.
• Participate in shaping system architecture, engineering standards, and guiding technical direction.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code with a strong emphasis on quality and long-term stewardship.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, product partners, and business stakeholders to create impactful solutions.
• Oversee multiple professional teams to achieve set objectives and manage personnel responsibilities (e.g., conducting performance evaluations, recruitment, and disciplinary actions).
• Apply extensive knowledge of concepts and procedures within your area, along with a foundational understanding of related fields, to resolve challenges.
• Ensure adherence to critical procedures and contribute to the establishment of standards.
• Combine comprehensive understanding of application development with the overall technology function to meet established objectives.
• Exercise evaluative judgment based on fact analysis in complex, unique, and dynamic situations, drawing insights from both internal and external sources.
• Engage in influencing and negotiating with senior leaders across various functions and communicate with external parties as required.
• Appropriately evaluate risks when making business decisions, safeguarding the reputation of the firm and protecting Citigroup, its clients, and assets by enforcing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Exhibit sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices while effectively supervising the activities of others and holding them accountable for maintaining these standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Over 10 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in applications development
• Demonstrated management experience
• Experience in leading global technology teams
• Solid understanding of industry practices and standards
• Consistently exhibits clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree is preferred
