Job Description - System Analyst (AI/ML) Location: Singapore Industry: Banking / Financial Services Position: System Analyst - AI/ML Role Summary We are seeking a skilled System Analyst with practical experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to facilitate technological transformation projects within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, data scientists, and IT professionals to analyze system requirements, design technical solutions, and support the deployment and integration of AI/ML functionalities into enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and convert business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct system analysis, develop solution designs, and assess impacts on existing and new applications.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and developers to create and deploy AI/ML solutions.
• Assist in the development, integration, and deployment of AI/ML models within enterprise systems.
• Evaluate current system architecture to identify integration opportunities for AI/ML functionalities.
• Create system design documentation, technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and interface descriptions.
• Coordinate with development teams on API integration, data pipelines, and system enhancements.
• Participate in implementing AI/ML use cases such as predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and Generative AI.
• Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshooting, and production rollouts.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business goals, technical standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify system performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements to enhance scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a System Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role.
• Proven hands-on experience with AI/ML projects, including implementation or integration of AI/ML solutions.
• Strong background in system analysis, requirements elicitation, technical documentation, and solution architecture.
• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, model lifecycle management, and AI/ML integration within enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational database systems.
• Familiarity with Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with REST API development, microservices architecture, system integrations, and data flow management.
• Good knowledge of SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile software development practices.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging technical and business perspectives.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience within the banking or financial services industry.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with MLOps practices, model deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
• Background in banking applications, digital transformation initiatives, or intelligent automation projects.
• Understanding of AI governance frameworks, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
