Swift Engineer

SWIFT Solution Design Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable and secure infrastructure solutions for SWIFT that meet both current and future business needs.
• Generate technical designs for SWIFT message flows, system integrations, and connectivity models.
• Assess and validate SWIFT solution architectures to ensure compliance with client technology standards and security protocols.
• Produce integration specifications for linking SWIFT systems with core banking platforms and applications.
• Analyze SWIFT technology alternatives and offer technical guidance for system improvements and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Container Platform administration for essential business systems, encompassing cluster deployment, patching, configuration, migration, version upgrades, and vulnerability management.
• Manage cluster capacity and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts.
• Deliver L2 and L3 operational and engineering support, including swift incident response, investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution.
• Establish and maintain system documentation, playbooks, and configuration records for the Container platform.
• Lead platform modifications via the change request process and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor agreed-upon service levels and implement measures for service continuity, including backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery planning to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
• Guide less experienced internal staff and vendor personnel on procedural topics.
