Accounts & Finance Manager (Up to 15K / Construction / Pasir Gudang)

• Manage financial operations, encompassing accounts payable, treasury functions, asset management, inventory control, tax obligations, and compliance reporting.
• Compile and present monthly financial statements, conduct audits, and prepare tax submissions.
• Regularly deliver financial performance insights and analyses to the management team.
• Ensure efficient departmental operations, including the timely preparation of management accounts and financial forecasts.
• Develop forecasts and budgets while monitoring actual performance against projections.
• Oversee the company's tax responsibilities.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Administer cash flow and banking resources to align with the company's financial objectives.
• Guarantee adherence to statutory, regulatory, and legal standards.
• Generate specialized reports as requested by management.
• Guide and mentor team members.
• Validate claims, authorize payments, and oversee leave management.
• Advise on promotions and conduct performance appraisals for confirmations or salary increments.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management and accounting within a computerized setting.
• 3-5 years of experience in the construction sector.
• Fluency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as UBS, SQL, MYOB, and Globe3 ERP.
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Must be willing to work in Pasir Gudang.
