Accountant

Description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-focused Accountant with a B.Com qualification and at least 4 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting procedures, Tally, MS Excel, MS Word, GST, TDS, Professional Tax (PT), and will be able to support balance sheet preparation.

Responsibilities

1. Record and manage daily accounting transactions and maintain financial records.
2. Process accounting entries and handle bookkeeping using Tally.
3. Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets.
4. Manage GST, TDS, and Professional Tax (PT) compliance activities and maintain related documentation.
5. Create and maintain reports using MS Excel and MS Word.
6. Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain precise ledger accounts.
7. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
8. Maintain complete accounting records, vouchers, invoices, and all supporting documents.
9. Verify accuracy of financial data and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and taxation requirements.
10. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on accounting and financial matters.

Skills and Qualifications

• B.Com/ BAF/ or any related field
• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Professional Tax (PT).
• Experience in balance sheet preparation and financial reporting.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Must be comfortable working at the Thane location.
• Must be available for a face-to-face interview.
• Salary will be decided based on the candidate's last drawn salary, experience, skills, and interview performance.
