Account Executive (MNC)

Our client is seeking an Accounts Executive to become a vital part of their finance team. This position will engage in a variety of accounting and reporting tasks, providing exposure to a lively and rapidly evolving business setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Contribute to management reporting and financial analysis
• Prepare financial statements and statutory reports
• Aid in tax compliance and other regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors regarding audit activities
• Conduct account reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of financial records
• Support accounting functions related to business and operational activities
• Assist in enhancing internal controls, process improvements, and other finance initiatives
• Manage ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4-5 years of pertinent accounting experience
• Experience in a commercial, trading, logistics, or MNC environment is a plus
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP/accounting systems
• Professional accounting designations such as ACCA, CPA, or CA Singapore are preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Capable of working independently and managing multiple deadlines effectively
