Web Developer (Murex)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
✅ Design, enhance, and maintain risk management applications utilizing Murex for both Market Risk and Credit Risk.
✅ Execute and validate Value at Risk (VaR) calculations, EWRS, and MLC/Credit Risk methodologies.
✅ Craft and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions leveraging SQL Server 2012.
✅ Facilitate risk data integration, reporting processes, and system improvements.
✅ Diagnose application issues, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure prompt resolution.
✅ Work closely with risk analysts and business stakeholders to provide accurate risk calculations and reporting.
✅ Create technical documentation and uphold compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
✅ Offer technical support and mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements
✔️ 6-9 years of experience in the development of risk applications within the financial services sector.
✔️ Practical experience with Murex for Market Risk and Credit Risk.
✔️ In-depth knowledge of:
- Value at Risk (VaR)
- EWRS
- MLC/Credit Risk methodologies
✔️ Proficient experience with SQL Server 2012.
✔️ Familiarity with Windows Server 2012 environments.
✔️ Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
Nice to Have
➕ Familiarity with additional risk management or trading platforms.
➕ Understanding of regulatory risk reporting frameworks.
➕ Experience with financial data integration and ETL methodologies.
➕ Scripting and automation experience related to risk workflows.
