Therapy Assistant - OT

Position Overview

Key Duties

• Assist therapists in readying patients for therapeutic equipment and activities. Support the implementation of therapeutic exercises by supervising and aiding patients. Contribute to the development of orthotic devices and garments for rehabilitation purposes. Organize and maintain patient records, ensuring precise filing and retrieval. Uphold cleanliness in therapy areas and assist with associated responsibilities. Facilitate the transport of patients to and from therapy appointments as required. Manage inquiries, handle phone calls, and efficiently relay messages. Assist in tracking inventory of essential equipment and supplies. Conduct inventory assessments to guarantee the availability of necessary resources. Oversee basic administrative duties, such as photocopying and filing documents. Perform data entry and retrieval tasks using relevant software tools. Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of therapeutic equipment. Supervise and support the cleaning duties of healthcare attendants.

Qualifications

• At least a GCE 'O' Level qualification. Customer-oriented with a strong emphasis on service excellence. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Effective team collaborator with the capability to work well with others. Basic knowledge of computer applications, including Word and Excel.
