Technical Lead

Job Summary

This hybrid Technical Lead opportunity requires six to ten years of experience delivering Java Sprint Boot and Net Java solutions, along with a strong background in the cards and payments domain. The role centers on architecting scalable payment solutions, directing technical implementation, and ensuring secure transaction processing. The selected candidate will partner with cross-functional teams during day shifts to build dependable services that enable financial inclusion and support smooth digital commerce.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of payment services using Java Sprint Boot and Net Java, ensuring stability security and performance across all core transaction flows
• Translate complex cards and payments business requirements into clear technical solutions that deliver seamless customer experiences and dependable transaction processing
• Provide technical leadership to the development team on coding best practices, code structuring, and reusable component creation to help scale payment platforms
• Drive ongoing improvements to payment processing systems by reviewing transaction patterns, diagnosing bottlenecks, and proposing focused optimization opportunities
• Work with product owners business analysts and quality assurance specialists to ensure technical deliverables align with regulatory compliance and industry standards within the cards and payments space
• Maintain compliance with secure coding practices and data protection controls to safeguard cardholder information and lower operational and financial risk
• Oversee defect triage and conduct root cause analysis for production incidents in payment services, implementing corrective actions to prevent repeat issues
• Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams in a hybrid work model to enable reliable deployments, performance tuning, and day-to-day environment readiness for payment operations
• Direct the implementation of integration capabilities with external networks issuers acquirers and internal banking systems to preserve high reliability and interoperability across transaction flows
• Review technical documentation, including solution designs interface contracts, and deployment procedures to support clear communication and maintainable systems
• Assist with mentoring team members by sharing domain expertise in cards and payments and modern engineering practices to strengthen overall technical capability
• Contribute to architectural discussions for microservices, event-driven patterns, and resilience strategies that support the long-term evolution of payment platforms
• Improve quality outcomes by championing thorough unit, integration, and regression testing practices that enhance reliability across payment journeys

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java Sprint Boot and Net based application development, with hands on experience building enterprise-grade payment services
• Exhibit deep understanding of cards and payments domain concepts including authorization clearing settlement dispute handling fraud checks and regulatory requirements
• Apply familiarity with hybrid work environments and modern collaboration tools to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams during day shifts
• Show practical experience designing and consuming RESTful services message-based integrations and middleware solutions customized for financial transaction systems
• Utilize knowledge of relational databases caching mechanisms and transaction management techniques to support high-volume secure payment processing
• Display experience using version control continuous integration and automated build tools to sustain consistent delivery pipelines for payment applications
• Present exposure to performance monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and alerting practices that help maintain stability in cards and payments platforms
