Job Summary:

Emerson is currently hiring for the Business Analyst role. In this position, you will act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, Project Managers, Enterprise IT teams, and development resources to implement and enhance the Integrated Project Management System (iPMS) using Oracle Primavera Unifier and P6. You will gather and document business requirements, analyze business processes, convert functional needs into technical solutions, and support the successful delivery of system capabilities that enable the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle. The Business Analyst will help drive project execution by coordinating with cross-functional teams, monitoring progress, tracking deliverables, and delivering consistent status reporting to support timely completion of project modules and business objectives.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Enterprise IT teams, and business stakeholders to collect, evaluate, and document business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and process reviews to capture current and future business needs.
• Convert business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution designs for Oracle Primavera Unifier.
• Work with cross-functional teams across the Quote-to-Cash process, including Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Order Management, and Documentation teams.
• Serve as the main liaison between business users and developers, ensuring clear communication of requirements and solution expectations.
• Support solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and user acceptance activities.
• Ensure development teams complete project modules, milestones, and deliverables on schedule.
• Monitor project progress, manage action items, recognize risks and dependencies, and escalate issues as needed.
• Oversee implementation timelines and provide regular status reports, dashboards, and project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Assist with integration requirements across enterprise applications, reporting platforms, and workflow systems.
• Verify delivered solutions against business requirements and coordinate defect resolution with IT and development teams.
• Create process documentation, business procedures, training materials, and user guides.
• Enable user training, system adoption, and change management activities.
• Find opportunities to standardize processes, introduce automation, and support continuous improvement across project management and operational workflows.
• Support governance, reporting, and data quality initiatives within the iPMS ecosystem.
  
  

Who You Are:

• You take responsibility for connecting IT and the business by applying data analytics to evaluate processes, define requirements, and provide data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. You facilitate meetings with business leaders and users to understand how changes in process / products / services / software and hardware can increase efficiency and deliver added value. You can clearly present ideas while aligning them with technological feasibility, finance, and functional requirements.
  
  

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Engineering Degree in any discipline
• 8+ years' experience in Project / Product Management or as a Business Analyst
• Experience with SQL, Power Bi, Tableau
• Experience in any ERP Software (Preferably Oracle & SAP).
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Certification in PGP/PGDM in Data Analytics/Business Analytics/Data Science and Engineering/AI/ML is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Agile / Scrum, Critical Thinking Skills or Techniques.
• Certification in SAFe POPM, Human Centric Design preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6 and Primavera Unifier
• Exposure to Process Industry
• Strong knowledge in Power Platforms, Azure DevOps.
• Good Knowledge in MS Office
