System Analyst, Credit Origination (Banking) - 1-year renewable contract

• Strong familiarity with banking products, particularly Credit Origination or related areas, along with a solid understanding of banking and financial services regulations is highly desirable.
• Experience working with Unix operating systems and database concepts, including SQL, combined with a foundational knowledge of system integration principles.
• Basic hands-on experience with job scheduling tools, Putty, database access, and protocols for online and batch integrations.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Project is advantageous.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, identify challenges, and define system requirements for new projects and system enhancements.
• Perform comprehensive analysis of existing systems and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and optimization.
• Convert complex business requirements into clear, detailed functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and relevant documentation.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, system architects, and quality assurance personnel throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure solutions align with business goals and technical standards.
• Organize and facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements, share findings, and secure stakeholder approval.
• Provide support during system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect analysis to uphold the quality and reliability of delivered solutions.
• Assist in developing training materials and offer post-implementation support to end-users.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system analysis and banking technology.
• Participate in project planning, risk management, and change management activities to ensure successful project delivery.
