Structural Design Engineer - Civil Structures

Job Overview:

• We are on the lookout for skilled Structural Design Engineers who possess extensive knowledge in 3D modeling and comprehensive structural design specifically for power plant and industrial projects.
• This position requires the development of structural models, arrangement drawings, and fabrication packages utilizing software such as Tekla Structures, Autodesk Revit, Advance Steel, and STAAD Pro, while adhering to international standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Execute 3D Civil Structural design for power plant infrastructures and Balance of Plant (BOP) scopes.
• Develop 3D models using Trimble Tekla, Autodesk Revit, and Advance Steel.
• Create structural arrangement drawings and civil inputs derived from 3D models.
• Carry out clash detection and collaborate with piping, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC teams.
• Design large prefabricated transportable plant modules, including both primary and secondary steel components.
• Conduct STAAD modeling analysis and detailing for Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) and station buildings.
• Design foundations for boiler structures and pipe racks.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTOs), bill of materials (BOM), fabrication instructions, and erection drawings.
• Ensure alignment with IS, AISC, and EN codes regarding structural design, wind, seismic, welding, and fasteners.

Technical Qualifications:

• Proficient in Plant Engineering, 3D modeling for steel and reinforced cement concrete (RCC) structures, and detailed design drawings.
• Skilled in Tekla Structures, Autodesk Revit, Advance Steel, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
• Familiarity with structural codes including IS, AISC, EN, and ACI.
• Strong grasp of fabrication packages, construction documentation, and transportation planning.

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE/BTech).
• Practical experience in structural design and detailing for industrial or EPC projects.
