Specialist - Reporting DT Consultant

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with various business units (including sales, delivery, and finance) to gain insight into their specific processes, regulations, and strategies. Analyze relevant data to provide actionable, data-driven insights, presenting findings clearly to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Work closely with stakeholders across different business areas to offer professional assistance, thoroughly analyze data and BI reporting needs, and independently create comprehensive solution documentation.
• Partner with the IT department to ensure that business requirements are effectively transformed into technical solutions for data modeling and BI reporting, maintaining ongoing communication with the IT team.
• Contribute to project planning and execution, ensuring effective collaboration with all project stakeholders to guarantee high-quality and timely delivery of projects.
• Engage in UAT validation for project outputs to confirm that deliverables align with business requirements from both business and functional perspectives.
• Involve yourself in the analysis of feedback and support for the delivered data models and BI reports, continually enhancing the business value derived from data models and BI reports, and addressing daily inquiries from the business side.
• Stay updated on the latest BI tools and technologies, applying them to enhance the company's data application and analytical capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years focused on BI analysis and data analysis.
• Possession of a Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Well-versed in business requirements analysis methodologies and tools, with a strong understanding of business processes.
• Knowledgeable in sales, delivery, finance, and project management principles.
• Proficient in business requirements analysis techniques and tools, with an understanding of data warehouse architecture and the ETL process; skilled in at least one mainstream database for handling and analyzing large volumes of complex data, and capable of writing SQL for data analysis.
• Outstanding communication abilities, facilitating smooth collaboration across various workstreams.
