Key Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory and regression testing for applications to pinpoint potential issues.
• Design, create, and implement automated functional tests utilizing tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Maven, or Capybara.
• Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Work closely with Agile development teams to incorporate and carry out automated testing strategies.
• Implement application security testing and offer suggestions for improvements.
• Create and sustain SQL scripts for data validation and test automation.
• Document and communicate software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Programming Proficiency: Experience in Java, Python, or Node.js (preferred).
• Testing Tools Knowledge: Practical experience with tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Maven, or Capybara.
• Agile Methodology Familiarity: Understanding of automation testing within Agile development settings (preferred).
• Performance Testing Experience: Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling (preferred).
• Certifications: Certified Software Testing Professional or Certified Software Quality Analyst (preferred).
