Software Quality Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Engineer with at least 3 years of expertise to uphold the quality and dependability of our software products. In this position, you will be tasked with the design, execution, and upkeep of robust testing strategies aimed at improving product performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and maintain automated functional tests utilizing tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Maven, or Capybara.
• Execute exploratory testing, regression testing, and automation to guarantee software quality.
• Perform application performance and security testing as necessary.
• Work closely with Agile development teams to incorporate testing strategies into the software development lifecycle.
• Draft and maintain SQL scripts for data validation and automated testing.
• Leverage performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling to evaluate and enhance application performance.
• Implement best practices in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Agile Environment Experience: Understanding of automation testing within Agile development frameworks (preferred).
• SQL Proficiency: Ability to write SQL scripts for testing and validation.
• Performance Testing Background: Experience with tools such as JMeter or Gatling (a plus).
• Certifications: Certified Software Testing Professional or Certified Software Quality Analyst (preferred).
