Senior System Analyst

This position necessitates a blend of advanced programming expertise and analytical capabilities to evaluate, design, and test application system specifications.

The role involves assessing information systems to determine their alignment with the organization's requirements and anticipated outcomes, in addition to collaborating with end users, software vendors, and developers to fulfill these objectives. Key responsibilities also include troubleshooting issues, managing risks, and offering technical support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engage in the initial Information Gathering, Analysis, and Project Initiation phases.
2. Collect business and functional requirements from users and stakeholders.
3. Conduct quality assurance and facilitate user acceptance testing with end users.
4. Assist the team leader and management in effectively communicating insights and strategies to cross-functional team members.
5. Gather essential information from stakeholder meetings and generate insightful reports.
6. Ensure that solutions align with business needs and requirements.
7. Oversee deliverables to guarantee timely project completion.
8. Support the team leader and management in adhering to the project plan schedule.
9. Provide ongoing application support and engage in various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
10. Conduct user requirement analysis for both new development and enhancements to existing systems.
11. Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills while managing the System/Business Analyst Team.
12. Review and/or verify detailed documentation of the system requirement study (SRS) and system development design (SDD).
13. Ensure all documentation complies with HeiTech's established standards and guidelines, including ADVISE, PRECISE, and CMMI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field with a focus on information systems.
• At least five years of experience in systems analysis and design, proficient in various programming languages, and experienced in application development across multiple platforms.
• Familiarity with modern frameworks and technologies, with proven experience in solving complex business and application issues.
• Understanding of computer operations, programming principles, and systems analysis methodologies.
• Proficiency in current programming languages, operating systems, database languages, and fundamental network and Internet technologies; mainframe experience is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
