Senior Simulation Engineer

Position Overview

• Conduct static, dynamic, and structural thermal-mechanical analyses with minimal supervision.
• Influence design choices by utilizing reliable simulation techniques and working closely with Design Engineers.
• Identify risks proactively, address challenges, and clearly communicate issues.
• Organize, prioritize, and facilitate the timely delivery of project outputs across various teams and locations.
• Acquire new technical skills independently as required to troubleshoot and resolve challenges through self-directed learning and research.
• Share findings and proposed mitigation strategies with cross-functional teams to achieve effective solutions.
• Encourage technical excellence, uphold best practices, and create new tools or methodologies to improve product performance and reliability.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Material Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) with over 5 years of experience in mechanical product analysis and development.
• Skilled in CAD/CAE software (e.g., ANSYS, Moldflow, Abaqus) with experience in structural (FEA), plastic molding, and modal/vibration analysis.
• Solid understanding of solid mechanics and material strength; familiarity with FEA automation or machine learning is advantageous.
• Knowledgeable in measurement and data acquisition tools (e.g., B&K Pulse, strain gauge, MATLAB, Labview).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities, with the ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and engage in FMEA discussions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capable of presenting concepts clearly and mentoring junior engineers.
• A collaborative team member, enthusiastic about FEA automation and analytics, receptive to feedback, and eager to share knowledge.
