Job Description

PAN India LTM location, AIS Test Lead

5-9 years of experience

We are seeking an AIS Migration Test Lead with expertise in transitioning from MuleSoft to Azure Integration Services.

This role is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance framework during the migration from legacy MuleSoft API-led connectivity to Microsoft Azure's cloud-native services, including Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Service Bus, and more. The Test Lead will ensure functional parity, performance, and security of the integrated systems both during and after the migration process.

Skills Required

1. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform and Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, APIM, Service Bus, and Azure Functions.

2. Migration Tools: Familiarity with migration assessments and tools that aid in the transition from MuleSoft to Azure.

3. Testing Proficiency: Expertise in API testing tools such as Postman and SOAP UI, as well as performance tuning and security testing, including OAuth and SSL/TLS.

4. Leadership: Demonstrated success in guiding integration teams through various technical challenges in complex migration initiatives.

5. Process Knowledge: Strong experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, along with Release Management practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Migration Strategy Planning: Establish the QA strategy for the transition from MuleSoft to AIS, incorporating risk analysis and feature gap evaluation.

2. Test Design Execution: Formulate and implement comprehensive test plans — Unit, System Integration, UAT, and Performance — to verify that API functionality is preserved post-migration.

3. Validation Data Integrity: Oversee data reconciliation, mapping validation, and verification processes between the source MuleSoft and target AIS systems.

4. Defect Management: Partner with developers and architects to assess defects, identify root causes, and ensure swift resolution.

5. Performance Benchmarking: Confirm that the new AIS architecture meets or surpasses the performance throughput and latency of the existing MuleSoft setup.

6. Automation Tools: Leverage testing tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, and Azure Monitor to automate API tests and validate integration workflows.

7. Stakeholder Communication: Provide consistent updates regarding testing progress, potential risks, and mitigation strategies to project managers and stakeholders.
