Senior Platform Engineer (AWS Cloud Infrastructure & Agentic AI Foundations)

We are looking for experienced Senior Platform Engineers with extensive AWS knowledge to become part of our foundational platform engineering team based in Singapore. In this position, you will collaborate closely with our Platform Lead, Technical PMO, Data Engineering teams, and distinguished global technology professionals.

Your role is both significant and urgent: you will co-develop, provision, and implement a foundational, enterprise-level Agentic AI Platform. You will take charge of establishing the essential platform mechanics, creating the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) within a highly secure client environment, and performing thorough smoke-testing to confirm the platform’s readiness for scaling to live, production-level enterprise applications.

Core Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Provisioning: Architect, provision, and implement a robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS to support the new enterprise Agentic AI platform.
• Platform Initialization: Set up core platform standards, including identity and access management (IAM), compute orchestration layers, network design, and security protocols.
• PDLC Environment Setup: Collaborate with the Technical PMO and Platform Lead to integrate, standardize, and configure the entire Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) framework within a stringent client environment.
• Smoke-Testing Capabilities: Design and carry out comprehensive smoke-testing strategies to consistently verify the platform's core processing capabilities, data pipelines, and orchestration reliability before the introduction of real-world business applications.
• Collaboration Across Functions: Engage in agile engineering cycles alongside internal Data Engineers (DE), technical project managers, and top-tier global advisory experts to ensure that technical outputs are in harmony with overarching business strategies.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

• AWS Expertise: At least 5+ years of practical experience in architecting, provisioning, and overseeing complex AWS cloud infrastructure environments (Core services, EKS/ECS, IAM, Lambda, VPC networking).
• Platform Engineering & Automation: Proven experience in constructing cloud-native platform architectures from the ground up using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• PDLC & CI/CD Pipeline Engineering: Strong technical acumen in setting up modern developer experience (DevEx) tools, GitOps workflows, and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Systems Validation: Demonstrated history of designing structural smoke tests, unit testing frameworks, and regression testing for underlying runtime platform systems.
• Familiarity with AI/Data Engineering (Preferred): Basic understanding or exposure to machine learning operations (MLOps), data streaming pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis), or initial deployment configurations for Large Language Models (LLMs) and automated software agents.
