Senior .NET Microservices Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced .NET Microservices Engineer to design, build, and support scalable, resilient, cloud-native applications that power essential banking capabilities.

The successful candidate will bring strong, hands-on expertise in .NET development, microservices architecture, cloud engineering, and DevOps practices. This role demands outstanding problem-solving ability, technical ownership, and experience using AI-assisted software engineering tools to enhance development productivity and improve delivery quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade microservices and REST APIs using C# and .NET 8.
2. Create secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud-native applications.
3. Apply Microservices Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
4. Build event-driven applications and integrations with Apache Kafka.
5. Contribute to solution design, technical architecture, and engineering discussions.
6. Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, performance bottlenecks, and application failures.
7. Work closely with architecture, platform, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
8. Implement automation, monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
9. Support CI/CD pipeline development and Infrastructure-as-Code implementations.
10. Use AI-assisted development tools and follow modern software engineering practices.
11. Ensure application security, code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
12. Own solutions across the entire software development lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET 8, ASP.NET Core.
