Senior DevOps Engg (9+ Years exp in Azure Devops+ AKS Configuration+ Team Management)

Overview

We’re looking for a dedicated problem solver who partners closely with customers and internal teams to maintain system availability, deliver operational excellence, and ensure successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate brings deep Azure cloud and DevOps experience, strong networking expertise, and hands-on production support skills—along with proven leadership ability to manage teams, drive projects, and build effective client relationships.

This position is for a hands-on technical leader who can design secure cloud architectures, lead delivery teams, provide technical direction, manage stakeholders, and advance continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Role

Cloud, DevOps & Operations

• Design, deploy, monitor, and support cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Manage AKS, containerized workloads, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, conduct RCA, and implement preventive actions.
• Monitor application, infrastructure, and platform health to ensure service availability.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation and process enhancements.
  
  

Leadership & Delivery

• Lead a team of engineers and provide technical mentoring, coaching, and training.
• Plan, assign, and govern project execution to deliver results on time and meet quality expectations.
• Compile and share daily/weekly status reports, delivery updates, and customer communications.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, and delivery metrics.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for critical issues and customer concerns
  
  

Networking & Security

• Provide technical leadership across networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, VPNs, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and Subnetting.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, firewall, NSG, and network security issues.
• Ensure cloud solutions align with organizational security and compliance requirements.
  
  

Stakeholder Management

• Work with clients, business teams, architects, developers, and support teams.
• Create and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Contribute to business growth by identifying improvement opportunities and supporting solution discussions.
  
  

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain architecture diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Ensure adherence to organizational processes, reporting standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, DevOps, ITIL or Cloud certifications will be an added advantage.
  
  

About You

Qualifications & Skills

• 10-12+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Operations, Production Support, and Solution Delivery.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of 3-5 engineers, including planning, assigning tasks, overseeing project execution, and providing technical coaching.
• Strong experience in production support, operations support, and maintenance-focused projects.
• Experience managing incidents, problem management, RCA, and SLA-driven support environments.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing secure Azure solutions using:
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure Container Registry (ACR)
• Azure Container Apps (ACA)
• Azure Container Apps Jobs
• Azure OpenAI
• Azure IoT Services
• Experience delivering solutions in secure enterprise environments using VNets, NSGs, Firewalls, Private Endpoints, and Identity & Access controls.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, IT infrastructure, and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience overseeing project budgets, delivery trackers, status reporting, and governance activities.
• Excellent communication skills, including stakeholder management and client engagement.
