Senior Consultant

Job Summary

This hybrid role is designed for a senior consultant with seven to ten years of experience delivering Coupa-based sourcing and procurement solutions to global clients. The position centers on Coupa spend analysis, supplier management, strategic sourcing, and P2P (procure-to-pay) processes, grounded in modern supply chain management practices. The consultant will help drive measurable business value while ensuring operational excellence for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead Coupa spend analysis initiatives that convert raw procurement data into actionable insights to support strategic sourcing decisions and enterprise cost optimization.

Configure Coupa supplier management to improve supplier onboarding performance tracking and strengthen risk monitoring, while ensuring alignment with client governance standards.

Execute Coupa strategic sourcing events to enhance category strategies, optimize supplier award decisions, and enable sustainable cost reductions across supply chain operations.

Optimize P2P process flows using Coupa capabilities to increase requisition accuracy, improve approval compliance, and reduce on-time purchase order cycle times.

Work with business stakeholders to translate sourcing and supply chain requirements into Coupa functional designs that are practical, scalable, and easy to adopt.

Configure Coupa workflows, forms, and approval rules to maintain compliance across sourcing and procurement activities with corporate policies and regulatory expectations.

Perform system testing, user acceptance support, and issue resolution to ensure stable Coupa deployments and reliable production cutovers.

Develop comprehensive process documentation, functional specifications, and configuration guides that enable client teams to understand, manage, and maintain their Coupa environments.

Deliver focused user training sessions that build confidence in Coupa tools for sourcing, supplier management, and P2P operations.

Assess current sourcing and supply chain practices to identify improvement opportunities and propose Coupa-enabled solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance operations and technology, to ensure Coupa solutions integrate effectively with upstream and downstream processes.

Track post-deployment performance metrics and recommend ongoing enhancements to keep Coupa solutions aligned with evolving business needs.

Advise clients on digital sourcing and supply chain management industry trends to ensure Coupa roadmaps remain relevant and future-ready.

Qualifications

Confirm at least seven years of experience implementing or supporting Coupa solutions across spend analysis, supplier management, strategic sourcing, and P2P.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of sourcing processes, including category management, request for proposal events, supplier selection, and contract execution.

Show practical understanding of supply chain management concepts, including demand planning, procurement planning, and supplier collaboration.

Bring hands-on Coupa configuration experience in modules including data mapping, workflow orchestration, and user role setup for complex organizations.

Demonstrate the ability to interpret procurement data, build spend cubes, and present insights that influence sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations.

Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to facilitate workshops, clarify requirements, and support change adoption in hybrid working environments.

Prefer experience integrating Coupa with enterprise resource planning systems and other supply chain platforms using standard integration tools.

Value experience with analytics or reporting tools that complement Coupa insights, including dashboards and key performance indicators for sourcing performance.

Certifications Required

Coupa Certified Professional or equivalent Coupa implementation certification preferred
