The Automation Test Engineer will collaborate with product team members to ensure that developed products and features adhere to established high-quality standards. The selected candidate will engage throughout the software development lifecycle, focusing particularly on quality assurance for software development and deployment, with a strong emphasis on the design and execution of test automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate requirements and develop test scripts.
- Run test scripts and document/validate software defects.
- Adhere to the QA-defined processes and coding standards.
- Oversee test results from automation test scheduling jobs and conduct maintenance for existing scripts to enhance test coverage.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in QA Automation, BDD frameworks, POM, Selenium with SPECFLOW, UI and API Testing, PostMan, Swagger, and SQLServer.
- Experience in developing automated tests with frameworks and tools such as Selenium and Cucumber. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and a keen attention to detail.
Knowledge of computer programming and software development processes.
Educational Background/Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
