Senior Business Analyst – Payments

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with extensive expertise in the payments domain to assist with business transformation and system migration projects within an expanding regional portfolio. This position operates at the convergence of business and technology, facilitating comprehensive business analysis, engaging with stakeholders, and identifying solutions, with the opportunity to evolve into a delivery lead role.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document functional, non-functional, and technical requirements from both business and technology stakeholders.
• Lead requirements workshops and facilitate discussions to define project scope, priorities, risks, and dependencies.
• Assist in solution discovery and formulation activities related to payments, system migrations, and transformation projects, including transitions from legacy to target platforms.
• Map current and future-state system workflows and serve as a liaison between business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create high-quality business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, user stories, and related documentation.
• Oversee change requests and support change control processes, assessing the implications of proposed changes across applications, platforms, and operational workflows.
• Engage with project stakeholders, including business sponsors, architects, developers, testers, and delivery managers across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Coordinate testing processes, including requirements validation, user acceptance testing, and implementation support.
• Independently drive project progress, manage change control, and take responsibility for deliverables, with the potential to advance into a delivery lead role.

Key Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Business Analysis within financial services or banking sectors.
• Proven end-to-end Business Analysis experience with the capability to autonomously lead requirements and solution discussions.
• In-depth knowledge of the payments domain, particularly in cross-border and/or real-time payments.
• Experience in supporting system migrations, application transformations, or legacy-to-target platform projects.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, demonstrating the ability to challenge assumptions and ask pertinent questions.
• A strong ownership mentality with a proactive, self-motivated approach and a keen eye for detail.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
