Security Project Specialist

Position Overview

TEKsystems is in search of a technically skilled Security Project Specialist/Engineer to become a vital part of our Global Security Technology Team at a renowned global technology firm. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates with an IT background and/or familiarity with physical security systems (such as video surveillance and access control) to acquire practical experience while supporting extensive global infrastructure initiatives at one of the foremost technology companies in the world.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct system checks and validations on finalized security system projects (including configuration and system naming).
• Utilize internal tools to identify errors and discrepancies; triage and either:
• Resolve directly
• Or escalate/root cause with senior engineers
• Assist with system upgrades and new installations, which includes validation and reporting.
• Examine failure reports and adhere to structured processes to validate issues and aid in their resolution.
• Support commissioning and ongoing system maintenance for access control and video management systems.
• Engage in QA checks and documentation activities through the Technology Operations Center.
• Work collaboratively with engineers on global programs to facilitate design, deployment, maintenance, and tool development initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Recent graduate holding a degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
• Familiarity with physical security solutions such as access control systems or video management systems (e.g., CCTVs)
• A keen interest in technical support
• Detail-oriented with the ability to perform structured system checks and validations
• Preferred experience with project-based work or system commissioning
• Strong communication abilities and eagerness to learn in a complex, enterprise-level environment
