School Operations Assistant (Pasir Ris)

Job Summary

Support everyday school operations at a primary school in Pasir Ris by keeping the environment clean, providing logistics and facilities assistance, performing routine facility checks, and helping maintain a safe and well-ordered setting.

Responsibilities

• Keep classrooms, offices, and shared/common areas clean and well maintained to support a safe school environment
• Deliver logistics support by setting up and clearing venues for school activities, events, and meetings
• Move and arrange furniture, equipment, and other materials required for daily school operations
• Carry out basic inspections of school facilities and report faults or maintenance concerns promptly
• Assist with opening, closing, and securing assigned school areas, classrooms, gates, and facilities
• Support assigned basic facilities maintenance work to maintain operational readiness
• Accompany contractors, vendors, and service personnel within school premises to uphold security and compliance
• Undertake general operational and cleaning duties to ensure school safety and order
• Perform any other operational tasks assigned by the school to support daily functions

Required competencies and certifications

• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English to coordinate tasks and report issues
• Capability to perform hands-on operational duties, including cleaning, logistics support, and safely moving items

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in school operations, facilities management, cleaning, maintenance, or a similar operational role
• Reliability with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within the school operations team

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
