About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Delivery Executive to spearhead executive-level leadership and delivery governance for a major SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust history of steering complex, multi-workstream SAP programmes while managing senior client relationships, overseeing delivery governance, ensuring commercial performance, and addressing strategic escalations.

This senior leadership role demands extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, programme governance, commercial management, and stakeholder engagement, ideally within government, defense, or other highly regulated sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume executive accountability for the overall delivery of the programme, including contractual obligations, outcomes, and service quality.
• Lead senior programme governance and steering committee meetings alongside client leadership.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical delivery, commercial, and stakeholder issues.
• Provide independent delivery assurance via programme health assessments, quality evaluations, and governance checkpoints.
• Oversee engagement-level commercial performance, which encompasses P&L, margins, resource allocation, and contract/variation management.
• Manage governance processes for SAP partners, implementation partners, subcontractors, and specialized SMEs.
• Ensure the availability of appropriate vendor resources and specialized skills throughout the engagement.
• Take ownership of strategic programme risks, including those related to delivery, security, business continuity, and reputation.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with C-level stakeholders and senior government/client leadership.
• Ensure delivery adheres to relevant security, data residency, regulatory, and client-specific requirements.
• Champion organizational change management and benefits realization in alignment with the client's transformation objectives.
• Assist in the recovery and turnaround of programmes facing significant delivery or commercial challenges.
  
  

Required Experience

• A minimum of 15 years in SAP delivery, including at least 8 years in Programme Director, Engagement Director, Delivery Director, or equivalent executive roles.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering at least two large-scale SAP S/4HANA or equivalent ERP transformation projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream, multi-million-dollar programmes from initiation through to successful execution.
• Strong background in executive governance, steering committees, and high-level stakeholder management.
• Experience with commercial ownership, including P&L/margin responsibility, contracts, variations, and partner/subcontractor oversight.
• Familiarity with delivery assurance, programme health assessments, quality gates, and the recovery of at-risk programmes.
• Extensive client relationship management experience at the C-suite, executive, or senior government level.
• Experience in government, defense, public sector, or other highly regulated environments is highly desirable.
• Experience within secure, classified, restricted, or air-gapped environments will be advantageous.
  
  

Qualifications & Certifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Active PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or MSP certification.
• Knowledge and understanding of SAP Activate methodology.
  
  

Preferred

• SAP S/4HANA certification in a functional or technical domain.
• Certification in portfolio/programme management such as MoP or P3O.
• Security-related certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
• Current or previous Singapore security clearance.
