SAP Developer

Job Overview

We are in search of a skilled SAP Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing tailored solutions and enhancements within SAP systems to meet business needs. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge in SAP modules, ABAP programming, and integration with external systems, demonstrating the capability to deliver efficient and scalable solutions in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

· SAP Development:

• Create, customize, and enhance SAP applications utilizing ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming).
• Design and adjust reports, forms, interfaces, workflows, and enhancements within SAP systems.
• Implement user exits, BAdIs, and other enhancements to expand SAP functionalities.

· System Integration:

• Design and implement interfaces between SAP systems and third-party applications utilizing tools such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
• Engage in data migration processes, including LSMW, BDC, or other relevant tools.

· Technical Solution Development:

• Work collaboratively with functional consultants to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments and propose optimal solutions.
• Identify and address issues concerning system performance, scalability, and integration.

· SAP Modules Proficiency:

• Develop and maintain solutions for various SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, HCM, PP, or others.
• Ensure seamless integration across SAP modules.

· Testing and Documentation:

• Carry out unit testing and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for new developments and modifications.
• Draft and keep technical documentation updated for custom developments.

· Support and Maintenance:

• Oversee SAP system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Offer post-go-live support and troubleshooting for SAP solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Technical Skills:

• Expertise in ABAP, including ALV reporting, enhancements, module pool programming, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 development and OData services is advantageous.
• Experience with SAP integrations utilizing IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
• Knowledge of SAP Data Dictionary, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.

· Functional Expertise:

• Knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, HCM).
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and best practices.

· Additional Qualifications:

• Practical experience with SAP HANA development tools like CDS views, AMDP, and Native SQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of practical experience in SAP development and support.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA projects is preferred.
