SAP BASIS Consultant

Primary Responsibilities:

• A typical day for an Infoscion
• As a member of the Infosys consulting team, your main responsibility will be to spearhead the engagement process, delivering exceptional and value-driven consulting solutions to clients at various stages, from identifying problems to diagnosing them and developing and deploying effective solutions.
• You will evaluate proposals created by consultants, offering insights and examining the solutions crafted for client business challenges to pinpoint potential risks and issues.
• Your role will include recognizing change management needs and suggesting a systematic approach to clients for managing the transition through diverse communication methods.
• Additionally, you will mentor and establish a vision for your team, deliver subject matter training in your areas of expertise, and inspire team members through constructive and timely feedback as well as recognition of high performance.
• You will be a vital contributor to unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added consulting solutions to clients, while adhering to the organization's guidelines and processes.

Technical Qualifications:

• A minimum of 9 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration
• At least 3-4 complete SAP Basis implementation and migration projects, including Data Center and Cloud OS DB upgrades throughout the full lifecycle
• Accountable for offering SAP Basis technical expertise and leadership during the development and implementation of SAP solutions
• Proficient in articulating technology-related issues, plans, and solutions from both business and technical viewpoints, outlining the advantages and disadvantages of recommended solutions
• Practical experience in designing and implementing landscape infrastructure, client strategies, capacity planning, sizing, high availability, disaster recovery setups, and backup and recovery strategies, along with Basis Administration
• Act as a subject matter expert and central point for architectural frameworks
• Extensively knowledgeable in the complete SAP business suite, including S/4 HANA, HANA Administration, Solution Manager, and other SAP third-party tools
• Prepared to work in a 24x7 and extended hours support environment

Additional Duties:

• Familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies
• SAP Certification will be an advantage
• Project and team management experience
• Expertise in project talent management and thought leadership
