Description

We are hiring a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our team in India. The successful candidate will bring 3-10 years of experience supporting and administering SAP environments, with a focus on maintaining optimal system performance and delivering reliable technical support. In this position, you will work closely with multiple teams to improve system efficiency and strengthen security.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SAP Basis systems, including installations, upgrades, and patch management.
• Continuously monitor and fine-tune system performance to ensure high availability and dependable operations.
• Carry out system backup and recovery activities to protect data integrity.
• Partner with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot SAP system issues and improve performance.
• Set up and manage user roles, authorizations, and security configuration settings.
• Support SAP system migrations and cloud deployment initiatives.
• Deliver technical support and troubleshooting for SAP Basis-related incidents and issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for SAP Basis administration processes and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Solid understanding of SAP architecture and the system landscape.
• Experience with SAP HANA, ABAP, and NetWeaver.
• Proficiency with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, HANA).
• Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) used in SAP environments.
• Knowledge of SAP security concepts and user administration practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
