Salesforce Developer

Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on technical implementation, focused on building and maintaining functional solutions on the Salesforce.com platform.
• Lead the end-to-end design, implementation, deployment and documentation of projects that use the Salesforce.com toolset.
• Act as a subject matter expert for solution architecture, including configuration, development, integration and customization across complex environments.
• Serve as the technical lead for Salesforce projects.
• Create and execute strategies to address complex technical challenges.
• Partner with the Digital Center of Excellence, CRM and Back-End Development teams to build innovative experiences for our institutions.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Salesforce Declarative Programming and Administration (develop code, custom objects, LWC, Visual Force pages, Apex, reports, workflows and assignment rules).
• Design and develop solutions primarily on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visual Force, and Lightning Web Components.
• Build and maintain Lightning community templates, Lightning Web Components, and flows.
• Develop software solutions using the Salesforce.com API framework, along with 3rd party APIs.
• Conduct unit testing and perform defect fixes.
• Coordinate with internal clients and users to understand business needs while developing solutions through Salesforce.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with different end users, meet deadlines, and proactively share status updates.
• Remain calm under pressure and contribute proactively, with an eagerness to learn.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and support projects as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field is preferred.
• Min 4+ years previous development experience with Salesforce (Certified Salesforce Developer preferred).
• Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce architecture and API.
• Detailed experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers.
• Demonstrative success with multiple Salesforce migration/integration projects.
• Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both customers, leadership, and technical teams.
