IT MES Support Engineer

IT MES Support Engineer (1-year contract)

Provide support and continuous improvements for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within a high-volume electronics manufacturing setting, including remote assistance for overseas factory locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy and upgrade MES solutions to enhance manufacturing operations.
• Track system performance, diagnose technical issues, and identify root causes to minimise production downtime.
• Implement and maintain integrations between MES and ERP, SCADA, automation equipment, and other IT systems.
• Administer databases and create production reports and dashboards.
• Lead MES enhancement initiatives in collaboration with manufacturing, engineering and IT teams.
• Update and maintain technical documentation, train system users, and uphold data integrity and security.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in MES development, deployment, integration and support in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Python programming skills; Java or C# is an advantage.
• Strong Oracle database knowledge, including experience managing databases.
• Sound problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Capable of working independently and delivering remote support to overseas sites.
