Salesforce Application Developer

The Salesforce Application Developer will handle all forms of standard Salesforce development and customization. The scope includes writing code, performing unit testing, building applications, and creating as well as modifying existing solutions. The role will collaborate closely with Salesforce Administrators and other Information Technology teams, including Data Engineering and Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop Salesforce applications using Apex and Visualforce while leveraging the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform
• Create and modify existing controllers, controller extensions, and triggers across all platforms
• Build highly interactive user interfaces using Visualforce, JavaScript, and JQuery
• Create custom applications using Salesforce.com and integrate salesforce.com with other systems
• Apply best practices to deliver operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes as required for the Salesforce.com platform
• Responsible for migrating from Sandbox (Testing Environment) to Production (Live System))
• Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform
• Enhance Standard and Custom Modules within the Salesforce.com platform
• Meet with users to define functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing, and deployment
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on application design, support, and practice development
• Provide technical assistance and end-user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” support
• Manage Salesforce Omni-Channel configurations to enable efficient case assignment and routing
• Serve as the point of escalation for technical support and issue resolution

Skills/Experience

·       Preferably at least 3 years of Salesforce Developer experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

·       3+ years of practical Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and proven experience with Agentforce, WhatsApp and Omni-Channel

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com development, including modification of standard objects and fields and creation of custom objects and fields
• Experience with Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud
• Apex, Flow, and Visualforce development, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Salesforce.com solutions
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce DevOps tools and practices
• Experience with CI/CD tools, version control, and automated deployment processes tailored to Salesforce
• Experience to implement and support payment gateway integrations and secure digital signature workflows to support customer transactions and document management
• Software engineering skills with the Force.com Platform (Flow, Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Unit Testing)
• Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based support environment
• Experience integrating multiple systems with Salesforce, including internal proprietary and third-party applications (example: 3CX, Novade, Netcore, QuestionPro, PowerBI, Seampify)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Current Salesforce certifications (e.g. App Builder, Platform Developer I.

·       Have experience developing AI-driven solutions using Salesforce Einstein, including predictive analytics, recommendation models, and chatbots to improve customer engagement and support data-driven decision-making.

• Customize Einstein features, including Einstein Analytics, Einstein Bots, and Einstein Prediction Builder, to deliver personalized and intelligent customer interactions
• Experience to migrate process builder to flow
