Quality Engineer

We are actively seeking a Quality Engineer to enhance packing material quality, manage suppliers, and oversee quality-related initiatives for integrated circuit (IC) products within a semiconductor setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with packing material suppliers to design or select appropriate carriers, including trays and carrier tapes, for IC products.
• Evaluate packing material designs and propose modifications as necessary.
• Prepare, maintain, and update documentation for suppliers and customers concerning packing and media.
• Address non-conformance issues regarding supplied materials and liaise with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new suppliers focused on packing and labeling.
• Facilitate the management of third-party suppliers involved in the reinspection and repacking of IC products.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Science/Engineering.
• Preferred experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically in Assembly & Test and packing materials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar engineering drawing software.
• Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and skills in supplier coordination.
