You will lead inspections, maintain quality documentation, and drive corrective actions, working closely with project teams and relevant external parties.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct site inspections to confirm that works align with approved specifications, quality benchmarks, and all applicable regulatory requirements. Create, maintain, and implement key project quality documentation, including Project Quality Plans and QA/QC inspection plans. Define QA/QC methods, procedures, and inspection workflows to enable consistent performance throughout all project stages. Organise and deliver inspection activities for materials, fabrication outputs, and site deliverables—identify defects and verify closure of identified issues. Examine supplier and subcontractor documentation (such as certifications and quality submissions) to ensure compliance with required standards. Keep comprehensive quality records, including inspection reports, audit plans, registers, and associated technical documentation. Review inspection outcomes, raise non-conformances, and assist with root-cause investigations in coordination with relevant project stakeholders. Escalate quality concerns without delay and support the development and execution of corrective and preventive actions based on project needs. Participate in mock-ups / trade demonstrations to validate workmanship standards and acceptance criteria. Champion continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the quality management system’s effectiveness. Coordinate across disciplines and with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure uniform application of QA/QC requirements. Complete any additional QA/QC-related tasks as assigned to support project delivery priorities.
Requirements
- Degree in Quality Assurance Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience supporting QA/QC activities on construction projects. Proven ability to develop and manage QA/QC documentation (e.g., inspection plans, quality records, reports, registers). Strong attention to detail, with structured planning and coordination capability. Ability to interpret construction execution methods, sequencing, and productivity/timeframe factors to support effective inspections. Comfortable operating in a site environment and collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
