QA Engineer

About the Company

Our client is a pioneering social gaming enterprise headquartered in Singapore, specializing in developing consumer-oriented mobile applications for a global audience. The company maintains a dynamic, product-focused environment and is actively integrating artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance its development and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of quality assurance for consumer-facing mobile products, including formulating test strategies, planning, and establishing quality benchmarks.
• Lead the development of API, UI automation, and performance testing frameworks, integrating them with CI/CD pipelines to boost testing efficiency and coverage.
• Implement AI solutions throughout the testing lifecycle—covering test case generation, scripting, defect analysis, and code reviews—and evaluate LLM/Agent-based intelligent testing methods, driving their adoption within the team.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
• Approximately 3 years of testing experience, with at least 1 year dedicated to consumer-facing applications.
• Ability to independently manage testing projects from strategy and test case design to risk assessment and quality evaluation.
• Experience in establishing testing processes and fostering collaboration across multiple teams.
• Proficiency with tools such as Postman, Apifox, and JMeter to perform API testing, performance assessments, and data integrity checks.
• Knowledge of MySQL and Redis, with the ability to write SQL queries proficiently.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing using at least one of Python, Go, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Understanding of Linux environments, network protocols, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with mobile testing methodologies and tools including Appium, packet capturing techniques, and adb, along with experience in multi-device, weak-network, and canary (gray-release) testing scenarios.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to support testing activities, with the ability to demonstrate and explain AI-generated insights.
• Knowledge of the principles, capabilities, and limitations of large language models (LLMs) and AI Agents, including prompt design, workflow development, and validation of AI outputs.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing test platforms, automation frameworks, or quality metrics systems.
• Background in creating AI-driven testing tools or code review systems utilizing LLMs or Agents.
• Experience working on testing projects involving monetization features such as in-app purchases, advertising, or payment systems, especially under high concurrency or rapid user growth conditions.
