In this role, you will shape production outcomes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment by translating customer demand into actionable production plans. You will partner across functions to support on-time delivery, operational excellence, consistently high quality standards, and continuous improvement—while aligning with Emerson’s commitment to innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Develop and maintain master production schedules for assigned product families to align with customer demand and business objectives.
- Compile and manage Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) inputs, monthly production plans, and weekly production schedules.
- Oversee execution of production plans, proactively identifying risks and applying solutions to reduce disruptions.
- Assess backlog, current demand, and forecasts to prioritize and sequence production activities effectively.
- Monitor production progress and coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Review schedule changes, delays, or interruptions and adjust plans to maintain delivery commitments.
- Plan and prioritize manufacturing operations to optimize resources, improve efficiency, and reduce lead times.
- Identify manpower, equipment, and material requirements required to support production demand.
- Work with cross-functional teams—including manufacturing, sourcing, customer care, logistics, and engineering—to drive operational excellence.
- Assist continuous improvement efforts through data analysis, process optimization, and adoption of best practices.
- Maintain accurate planning data and performance metrics to enable informed decision-making.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Degree/ Diploma in a related field with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of working experience.
- Hands-on experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of production planning concepts, capacity planning, and material requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to analyze data, prioritize work, and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for analysis, planning, and reporting.
- Experience using Oracle or a similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
- Exposure to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
- Ability to use data and insights to drive continuous improvement in planning and execution.
- Experience supporting multiple product families or complex manufacturing operations.
