Our client is an established main contractor based in Singapore, known for delivering large-scale building and development projects.

They are seeking an experienced M&E professional to lead site coordination and manage M&E works. You will collaborate closely with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to support quality, safety, and on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Drive and coordinate on-site M&E activities, including engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors on drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, materials and method statements.
• Track site progress, installation workmanship and adherence to approved drawings and authority requirements.
• Oversee work schedules, manpower planning, on-site coordination and subcontractor performance.
• Examine subcontractor claims, variation orders, material submissions and technical documentation.
• Arrange equipment installation activities, testing and commissioning (T&C), and coordinate authority inspections.
• Maintain comprehensive project records, including QA/QC documentation, as-built drawings and completion documents.
• Spot opportunities to support value engineering and cost optimisation.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 7-8 years of relevant M&E construction experience with a main contractor or M&E contractor.
• Experience on building projects including commercial, industrial, mixed-development or institutional developments.
• Strong M&E site coordination and installation experience, including hands-on exposure to testing and commissioning.
• Familiarity with relevant building services, such as ACMV, electrical, fire protection, sanitary and plumbing systems. Exposure to other systems, such as lifts, escalators and swimming pool systems, would be advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and proactively drive site progress and project deliverables.

• Location: Depending on project
• Working hours: 5 Days and OT
• Salary: up to S$7,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
