Your Role And Responsibilities
You will be tasked with providing operational support for procurement, assisting customers, executing purchase orders, coordinating suppliers, and managing catalog administration to aid internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Assistance & Procurement Support
Manage procurement and accounts payable inquiries from internal users and suppliers via phone, email, or ticketing systems. Offer application guidance, support procurement processes, and provide status updates, all while ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Issue Resolution & Operational Coordination
Investigate issues, accurately document incident logs, and escalate unresolved matters to level two support teams when necessary. Address blocked invoices, coordinate payment issues, expedite purchase orders, and follow up on delivery status to facilitate seamless procurement operations.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Proficiency in Mandarin in a business setting
- A Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields is preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in procurement operations, shared services, or customer support.
- Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, or other procurement tools is advantageous. Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills are essential.
- Market Analysis Knowledge: Understanding market dynamics, supplier profiles, and negotiating positions to guide procurement decisions, including assessing evolving client and market conditions.
- Contract Management Exposure: Familiarity with contract deliverables and reporting requirements to assist client procurement engagement and ensure adherence to IBM's business conduct standards.
- Data Collection Experience: Ability to collect spend and consumption data to support category management efforts and identify critical business requirements, utilizing tools such as P2P sourcing applications.
