Position Overview

Become a vital member of our innovative Procurement team, where your expertise will be essential in overseeing the material supply chain for production and spearheading strategic initiatives aimed at cost reduction in a fast-changing market landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute strategic sourcing strategies that align with the long-term goals of the business. Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms related to pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules. Promote collaboration across various departments to ensure that procurement objectives are successfully achieved. Manage the creation of purchase orders for direct materials, while overseeing shipment tracking, delivery timelines, quality assessment, and payment processing. Generate detailed reports to support informed decision-making and management oversight. Evaluate market trends to guide purchasing decisions on key materials. Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Material Science, Supply Chain/Business Administration, or a related Engineering discipline. At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in procurement or a similar role. Familiarity with purchasing metal parts, chemicals, or resin components is a plus. A proven track record of realizing cost savings and improving supplier performance. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong knowledge of procurement technology platforms is essential. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with Power BI and RPA is a valuable asset.
