Overview of the Role

• Our client, a distinguished premium preschool center, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced music educator to inspire young learners from Playgroup to Kindergarten 2. The successful candidate will implement an engaging and comprehensive music literacy program designed to foster children's musical development.
• Leverage your instrumental expertise and teaching background to cultivate creativity, musical skills, and overall development among preschoolers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver preschool music lessons across PG to K2, covering singing, percussion, keyboards, recorder, and violin for upper levels.
• Design and facilitate lively, age-appropriate musical activities that align with the center’s curriculum, policies, and educational philosophy.
• Oversee classroom management, creating a nurturing environment that meets each child's learning and developmental needs.
• Track and record children's progress through checklists, notes, photographs, and anecdotal observations.
• Support program implementation and perform additional responsibilities as required by the center’s operational standards.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma or professional certification in Music, such as ABRSM qualifications in Piano, Music Theory, or related fields.
• Proficiency in at least two musical instruments, such as piano, violin, ukulele, or guitar; familiarity with solfege, Suzuki violin method, and keyboard is a plus.
• Previous experience teaching in classroom settings and working with children in a musical context is preferred.
